VERONICA SPICATA BUBBLEGUM CANDLES 

Veronica spicata 'Bubblegum Candles' (often called Speedwell) is a compact, clump-forming perennial plant known for its striking, upright spikes of vibrant deep pink flowers. Despite the name, it is a living garden plant rather than a scented candle. It typically grows to a height and spread of about 20–30 cm (8–12 inches), making it an excellent choice for border edges, rock gardens, and patio containers.

Light: Prefers full sun for the best flowering performance, though it can tolerate partial shade.

Soil: Thrives in well-drained soil that is loamy and moderately fertile. It does not tolerate waterlogging, which can lead to root rot.

Watering: Requires moderate watering to establish. Once settled, it is somewhat drought-tolerant but performs best with consistent moisture during hot spells.

Pruning: Deadheading (removing spent flower spikes) is highly recommended to encourage repeat blooming throughout the season.

Propagation: Can be easily propagated by division in spring or autumn every few years to keep the plant vigorous
