PLEOMELE PRIDE OF JAMAICA 

'Song of Jamaica', botanically classified as Dracaena reflexa 'Song of Jamaica' (formerly Pleomele reflexa 'Song of Jamaica').

Foliage: This evergreen plant is prized for its attractive, glossy, lance-shaped leaves that are spirally arranged around the stem in tight whorls. The leaves feature a vibrant mix of dark green edges and a lighter, often creamy white or yellow, central stripe.

Growth: It has an upright, spreading habit and thick, irregular stems. It is a slow-growing plant, typically reaching a height of 1.5 to 3 meters (5 to 10 feet) when grown indoors, but can grow larger outdoors in tropical climates.

Origin: It is native to the islands of the Indian Ocean, including Madagascar and Mauritius.
Benefits: This plant is an effective air purifier, filtering airborne toxins such as benzene and formaldehyde, and is part of the NASA clean air plant collection.
