Product Information
Alocasia Cucullata is a spectacular evergreen foliage plant belonging to the Elephant’s Ear family. Upright, fleshy, rhizomatous stems bear stout, cylindrical leaf stalks topped with lush, green, heart-shaped leaves with prominent veins.
These plants do well in bright environments. They must be kept out of the sun though as this will burn their leaves
Watering needs:
These Alocasia do need to be kept evenly moist. So ideally a little of of water every day or two. Ideally they need to be kep evenly moist – not wet or drenched every time you water.
You can allow the top cm of soil to dry out – but not to much as this can cause it to start going dormant. They should not be allowed to sit in any water tray and this will cause the plant to rot.
