Droppers are slender Gum poles that are primarily employed in fencing applications. Droppers possess a greater thickness compared to laths. Wooden droppers are favoured over their steel counterparts due to their cost, effectiveness and lack of resale value, reducing the theft risk. All our Gum poles, including droppers, undergo creosote (creo) treatment to ensure your fence's durability. The Poles are treated with a wood preservative obtained from coal tar distillation to protect wooden structures, from decay and insect infestations. The chemicals in creo penetrate the wood, creating a barrier against degradation.
