This Sauvignon Blanc showcases the cool climate terroir aspects of the Vrede en Lust farm in Elgin named Casey’s Ridge.
The grapes are picked at optimal ripeness and the free run fermented with different yeast strains in stainless steel tanks. The wine spent 4 months on the lees and the result is a unique cool climate expression of Sauvignon Blanc with an excellent nose and palate.

Winemaker’s Notes:
Our goal with the Vrede en Lust Anni Sauvignon Blanc is to create a fresh and elegant style that shows the cool climate surroundings. This is done by harvesting the grapes at different times during the growing season.
Tasting Notes:
This Sauvignon Blanc has balanced aromas of green to orange fruit such as apples and citrus. The unique soils impart a desirable flintiness which lingers on the finish. Expect fresh and pure fruit flavours of pear, green apple and a hint of green herbs.
