- All aluminium construction (no moulded plastic top step or plastic bracings)
- High shear and tensile strength aluminium rivets
- Double-riveted steps
- Double-gusseted top step for enhanced rigidity
- Special wear-resistant hinge linking back leg to front frame of ladder
- Side stays affixed with lock nuts and bolts (not riveted)
- Wide serrated steps for secure non-slip footing
